Hey everyone.  New to this group, but not new to wheeling.  If you think you had room for 1 more rig it would just be 2 of us and a doggo.  Would love to meet some new faces in the wheeling community

Could bring some snacks, firewood and drinks
Sure what the hell

Welcome aboard

we need to bring a cordless drill and drill bit to test the thickness of the lake ice.  2 inches is good for a jeep, 4 inches is probably good for 15 jeeps

Looks like I'm late to the thread but back in town and should also be attending.  Will unload jeep at ATV unloading area just inside Forest Reserve and catch the caravan going by, say 9ish?

I think the plan is to leave Cochrane by 9.  But if you want to chill at the ATV staging you should see the 16 jeeps rolling in..

Sounds Good.  Shawn, was looking at the spreadsheet, not really a shortage of anything.  What needs bringing?

This is going to be my first big outing with you guys. Beside past Jeep 101. Is there a certain way we  will be lined up? Be divided into groups, lvl of exp, equipment etc?

TBD, Logically we'll probably put SilverFox out front followed by the other 2 with chili, then kevin and vinman with cookers/propane behind them. That way they can power through to the lake and set up. The rest will just cruise on in :)
If the hills are bad we'll leave a member at the top of each hill to spot/pull, but i can't see that being needed at this point.  Safety is always key :)

That sounds smart and safe. I just remembered this is my second chili run! And u guys are always organized as far as i could remember. Is Kevin the one with the white JK? Or at least used to have a white one? He always liked to test the snow how deep it was lol.

Kevin's the Guy TJ Rubicon with 37s.  He leads the 101 every year!  Other than the JK part yeah that sounds like Kevin

Don't stress it, looks like we are going to have more than we need.  Just come and enjoy.

Sean the gravel pits had active operations this weekend, so not a good place for 16 jeeps.

South ghost staging immediately after the end of the paved hwy 40 or at the Y on Waiparous valley road.

We could do the Waiparous creek staging area too frist right after the Waiparous creek camp ground before the gravel pits too
