Jk soft top mount

Bought a used soft top. Was told it was a 2013. Got the mount brackets for a 2013.  They were wrong. Looked into it and found 2012 were different.  Got those they kind of work but the top does not fit quite right.  Was wondering if anyone knows how to tell what year a soft top is.  Or how many different mounting brackets there are.

Used aftermarket or used Mopar?
If it’s a factory top I’d look for some sort of part number on it and what the parts guys can tell you.
