Andy's YJ
« on: February 14, 2020, 10:49:17 AM »
This is posted on the Broken Axle facebook page, but putting it here for the non-facebookers too.
Tickets will be sold until they are gone.
An updated list of how many tickets have been sold will be on the facebook page.  I'll update here when I can.

We're going to try something a little different with Andy's Jeep.  We're going to run a contest.  We will sell 100 tickets to win Andy's YJ for $100 each.  All money will go directly to his wife.

Here's how it will work:  We have a bucket full of random crap that Eric has been saving.  1 ticket gets you 1 guess at the number of items in the bucket.  Once all the tickets are sold we will dump the bucket and count the crap.  The person who guesses closest to the actual number of items in the bucket wins the Jeep!

Anyone can purchase more than 1 ticket for the chance at multiple guesses.

Please buy a ticket and share in any groups that you are part of!

No one knows how many items are in the bucket.  When we do the dump and count, anyone who bought a ticket is welcome to be there for it.

An item will be defined as one or many pieces that are attached.  For example, a bolt with a nut threaded onto it will be counted as 1 piece.

The bucket in question is available for viewing at the shop, but no touching!

The Jeep was last registered in Alberta with an active title.  It is to be given away AS IS with no substitutions.

Winner will be responsible for picking up the Jeep from Broken Axle in Calgary.

Staff and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

We have the approval to do this from Alberta Gaming and Liquor.  This is 100% above board and legal.

Tickets are virtual.  No paper tickets will be issued.

Tickets can be purchased by sending an e-transfer to [email protected].   Please include your first and last name, your phone number and your guess.

In the event that there is a tie between 2 people, another skill based challenge will be held between them to determine the winner.

This is being promoted by Broken Axle Inc, but is not directly affiliated with the shop.

Open to Canadian residents who are of legal age.
