YYC '94 YJ for sale
« on: September 16, 2023, 11:06:50 PM »
Hey all, been a bit. I'm now working out of province and jeep is still in Calgary. Looking to re-home the jeep. Care for and enjoyed if for many years but it's time to let it go. Not pretty but reliable with low KM's. here's basic list, I'm sure I'll remember more and add as time goes on.
1994 Jeep YJ
Price- negotiable but not giving it away. Invested a considerable amount of money and time so would like to see it go to a good home

145 000km
2.5L 4 cylinder
5 speed manual transmission
Registered and located in Calgary.
Solid frame
Aftermarket center gauge cluster with autometer  phantom 2 gauges
Heated sport seat driver’s side, have stock seat and pedestal .
20 gallon fuel tank “conversion” Shorted fill tube so its lets you fill tank completely, reads full on gauge for first five gallons, then drops normally.
Have carpets, not installed- too much time cleaning them, easier to leave out
Have two set full doors, originals have window frame rust, spares are wrong colour
Set of half doors with uppers, not great but keep some of the rain out.
Besttop soft top, factory hardtop both pretty decent.
Late model 8.8 conversion, rear disc brakes,SUA, 4.88 gears in open diff, rebuilt when re-geared approx 5k ago. Gear ratio is stock ratio with 35’s. Speedo accurate. U-bolt flip kit on rear diff.
Front diff swap in progress. Spare D30 rebuilt and re-geared 4.88. couldn’t locate low ratio carrier so stole the one out of diff now in jeep. Front diff empty, just stub axles in for front wheel bearings. Exchange diff has been set up, just needs swapping.
Rubicon Express 2” lift with new leaf spring, upgraded shackles and Bilstein 5150 shocks. 1” body lift.
Sitting on Dick Cepek Mud countries, 35”x12.5 “ on 15” rims. Tires are nearly new, 5/8” tread remaining, no cuts or repairs.
Rims are Dick Cepek DC1 x5, no spare tire for spare rim.
Was in process of making custom spare tire rack, so spare not mounted.
Tuffy box lock boxes for rear wheel fenders.
Hella headlight with upgraded bulbs.
MORE off roar rear shock relocation kit
Gen Right steel fenders with 6” flares, boats sliders all custom fit with wrap around 3/16” body armour. Armour and fenders were powder coated by local shop, and the durability has been terrible, Rust started within 12 months and it doesn’t look pretty. Still solid, needs to be stripped and repainted
Gen Right armour was installed over typical YJ rust by rear wheels, Have two new complete sides in boxes from cross Canada parts if someone would like to repair body issues. Bought sides to cut patches out of, never got around to it.
Started finding switch solutions that’d make my OCD happy and experimented with ideas…spare dash pad.
Some roll cage upgrades, dash bars and such.
Brakes have all been completely replaced, would have liked to swap in a ’95 YJ or such, larger brake booster for more power assist.
Synthetics throughout and new battery about a year ago.
Some rust on driver’s floorpan, have replacement front floorpans.
