Here's what cheap u-joints does... (this u-joint is not even 2 weeks old)





I was happy to find an auto-value open at 8:30PM during the week ... but unfortunately you pay for what you get.

My passenger side u-joint blew after I was trying to get out of a hole. OK it was not a small hole and I was off-camber with the weight of the Jeep on that wheel. I alway ran SPICER u-joints and I never broke one before.  

IMO these u-joints are made for pavements princess (I thought it would be good for me since I wont the award at the last CJA S&S  :wink:  :D ). They are not meant to support the stress we give them on a offroad trail.

I will change my u-joints back to the Spicers. I will pay double the price but I'll have the someting stronger.

that is a good one dom.... no problems on the way out

we have a good time ... lost a couple more jeeps due to time and a bent leaf spring ( tatoo's yj ), a toasted tie rod end ( comanche ) but overhall a great day out

which Autovalue one were you run regular ones or the heavy duty ones??

hey i missed you guys out the trail!!!!!!!!! heard lots of talk on the cb even heard cota, we tried to hook up with him but we got kinda lost we still had a blast though.............................anyway take care guys and perhaps we will see ya on the next run
