'95 YJ 4 Banger Transmission

Looking for a used transmission that is in decent shape (obviously)

maybe.. ...   words of advice anyone?

It went on me going down the highway, started to convulse so i took it out of gear and then I couldn't get it back into any gear. and the smell was horrible. Eventually I could and now in each gear it's this shrill whistle and the clutch also has the same sound when disengaged.

Topped up the gear oil, which probably had something to do with it, but it's still whistlin.

Gear center is pretty good for having reman stuff.

Just make sure your problem isnt clutch related before you do the whole tranny.

I already call dibs on the first used one for sale privately  :lol:
I checked Jeep stuff a while ago and they didnt have any.  I agree with bnine and your problem might be clutch related.  You can get them on ebay for like 90 bucks.

I sold my AX5 out of my 95 YJ to them back in late June or early July.
