What are some cheap mods that you have done to your rig? I saw this type of a post on another forum, and some really good ideas came forward.

Cheapest one I saw that was really worthwhile was to turn my rear view mirror in my 95 YJ upside down so it doesn't restrict the windshield vision as much. :lol:

Going for some clevis pin disconnects next, same as I had on my ZJ.

i took my spare tire mount off the tall gate and remounted it where the rear seat was, pretty much free. Just be carefull of the gas tank when drilling your holes.

$3.00 velcro strip from Wal-Mart.

Often when your on the trail and you stop&park on uneven ground or a hill, you undo the seat belts to get out. When you hop back in the jeep, you can't do up the seatbelt cause it's locked up. Tie the velcor strip around the seat belt to pinch it so it doesn't retract all the way. When your back on the road, simply adjust the velcro strip so the seat belt has tension again.

That or get your self a 5-point harness.

door retainer straps - twist them up a couple times and then put them back on the post. This stops the door from swinging out the full90 degrees and denting the truck parked beside you.
