Seat Belts are all Stuck

OK so heres the deal... I took everything out of my tub on Monday to Hurculine it... got the job finished yesterday and today I went to put eveything back together..... first on the list was to re-install the seat belts and they are all locked!!!!!  :x  :x  :x  :x     I tried taking one of them apart and the coil flew out and bent up (toast now).  Does anyone have any idea how to unlock these or am I stuck with buying new ones.

Did you lay the side belt on its side when you took them out?  There is a little arm inside that when they got to a certain angle it locks, that may be stuck in place.  Also I am sure a BFH and a little duct tape will do the trick
