I bought one for the firat time a few months ago.

A 2000 GC Limited.

Definitely an upgrade on my 95 Pathfinder.

Heated Leather Seats are awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Power...approx the same mileage as my 200K pathfinder..

I get about 400Km on a tank of gas city driving.

Don't know if its good or bad......

You get a tow pkg and fog lights....

There are numerous forums on the net pertaining to the GC Limited.

Just Google them and you will find a ton of information.

Watch out for the brakes !!!

I owned one and in 50,000 km we went through 4 dealer warranty brake jobs and several rotor re-finishes. Jeep really screwed up when they did the brakes on those. If you feel any pulsations or grabbing I'd pass unless the owner (or dealer) puts on QUALITY AFTERMARKET rotors and pads.

The positive points are exclusive comfort and a very nice factory stereo (Infinity) and ours had leather & sunroof. This is the only vehicle that ever tore me up to fix, and at the same time sell due to brakes and about 1/2" thick of warranty service invoices.

I'd buy another but only 2002-2004 as they solved many first years production problems before they got it right.

Driving economy is close to what the last poster mentioned, we got a documented 15.5L/100 km city and 10.2 Hwy. I drive conservatively unless the wife is not with me. :D

Our 98 we have today is about 10x better than the 2000 we had, the 98 has more acceleration and almost exactly the same economy as the newer one.

Buy one, love it and then lift it. 8)
