Author Topic: Broken Front "Tumble" Seat (Read 1364 times)

I am having some problems with my passenger side seat. The mechanism that allowed it to tumble forward completly (revealing the jack) hasnt worked since i bought the jeep. Now, recently my buddy slammed the seat back and it doesnt even slide forward when pulling the rear access tab or lever.

I was just wondering if this is something that i can fix by unbolting to get to the bottom of the seat, or am i gonna have to pull the covers off too?

FYI its an 02 TJ...if that even matters.

Funny!! The thing that got me motivated to fix it was a Cherokee seat fix on that site...musta overlooked that fix when i checked the TJ section.
