Author Topic: 92 YJ won't start (Read 1099 times)

My friend has a 92 YJ 4.0L. Someone boosted the jeep the wrong way and burnt out the alternator and a MAXI FUSE. We replaced those things and the jeep ran fine for a day and now the jeep will not start. The jeep wants to turn over but will not fire. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what's up. Thx

maybe you burnt up some more wires or ignition module

doing something like that could cause all kinds of problems.

Your wife try boosting? or was it you? :lol:

we tried tonight and the coil was not getting any spark

lol i should actually!!

I could strangle him right now...the jeep is still down.
A mechanic told me the comp is fine it is most likely a
fuseable link...soo now i gotta find the b!%(#.
