how goes it everyone, my first post here

im new to the forum, as well as jeeps, this would actually be my first vehicle, as well as I dont have my full licence yet, so its very interesting
anyways glad to say hi to everyone, and cant wait to do some off roading.

welcome. youve got the right idea with meeting some experienced jeepers before you go out and get stuck in a foot of mud. thats just depressing

thx for the response guys, i appreciate it.. if there is any other unexperienced jeepers gimme a pm, id like to maybe go out with one of u some time, get the hang of it before i make a fool of my self

No, no, no...trust me, you want to go out with the more experienced guys and learn from them.  No worries about making a fool out of yourself...everyone starts as a beginner.  :)
`48 CJ2A, `54 CJ3B, `97 TJ, and 03 WJ...batting close to .500 when it comes to jeep models owned vs. jeep models created.....

Glad to see another YJ on the board and anytime you want to go out, their are lots of people willing to show you the ropes.  Just make sure you have the proper recovery points and CB radio.

Come May or June, I will most likely lead a newbie run

Very true...This is a excellent advise. You can get hurt out there.

Come to a meeting (21st ...) tag along on a beginner run...  :D

That's what i'm hoping to do too, I wouldn't mind riding shotgun with someone.

Hey Guys, is it expensive to stay down your way in Calgary?  If I come for a few days I would need to crash and stuff, but definately want to come down there and wheel with eveyone.

I still make a fool out of myself...............listen to the advice about going out with experience.............could turn into  LIFE/DEATH SITUATION real fast! When indoubt go low range! The heavy foot usually looses.jmho!
