« on: February 20, 2007, 07:20:11 AM »
this isnt really technical but im having one heck of a time getting my fender flares off. i got that 8" peice off the front on both sides and well... it left 2 big holes in the side. RIP!! but with the other 4 i want to keep and re-use. they look simple, but like i said i just cant do it! the plastic "nuts" keep spinning and when i tried to hold them with pliers they would brake! and ideas or advice would be greatly appretiated

You have to use a pry bar on each one to give it pressure while your turning the screws out.  Itsa a pain.

the pry bar didnt work for me.  i have to pop the fender liner out so i can get to the back to hold the plastic nuts for the flare.   yes,  an extreme pain.
