help!!!!

can somebody give me an idea of whats wrong with my jeep, i replaced the distributor,spark plugs, and reset the timing and it runs good for a day or 2 then it starts coughing and spluttering like the timing is going, and in the end it wont even start??? any suggestions, comments

forgot to add its a 350 LT1 with HEI  distributor??

Coil, module, or a bad wire would be the first things I would be checking from the sounds of that.

Hit pnp and pocket a few modules for spares. They are famous for going suddenly.

And carburated right? Mis behaving once its hot? Make sure you are getting fuel. IE, fuel bowl is working right, you arent vapor locking, got good gas, choke isnt stuck, etc etc.

thanks bill i was gonna hit the plugs and wires tomorrow and work my way through the ignition, im even thinking timing chain?
