Camping - Mid June - Need Advice!!!!!!

I am looking to go camping with my girlfriend. She has a labrador retriever. Stock Jeep. Looking for a good campground, or camping spot. Heading out friday night, to Sunday afternoon - Mid June. Should be dog friendly. Doesnt have to be an actual campground (with facilities). Looking for good scenery, nice walking paths, perhaps some nice hiking paths. Definately do some fishing (not looking for your secret hole). Doesnt have to be "woman friendly", just looking for a romantic spot I guess. Perhaps an hour, tops 2 hours away from Calgary. Thanks.

New to Alberta but;
We were given strong advice to get Bear bells for us and our Dog, and to keep the dog on a Leash while hiking.  Aswell, to carry Bear spray.  One can each.
Maybe you know this already, but, that stuff is definately cheaper to buy in the City than it is from an "outfitter" close to the campgrounds or trails.  Like half the price cheaper.

I've got a whack of trail books but I have no idea whats good or not.
