I'm pretty new to your boards here but I am an active member of EJC up in Edmonton here and I'm heading down to your part of our beautiful province this weekend for a family BBQ on Saturday... but it's only a 1 day thing so it leaves Sunday wide open for me to hit the trails

. Can anyone suggest an area not too far from Calgary to go? If it's between Calgary and Edmonton all the better because I'll likely head home right from the trail on Sunday night. How about out west like Rocky Mtn House area? it's "kinda" on the way home for me...

If it helps, I have a 93 XJ running 33's and 4.5" lift on longarms. I have a winch too...

Maybe someone would like to join me for the day and I'll get a chance to meet our Calgarian couterparts? Haha Thanks guys!

I'm going out to Maclean Creek (SW of Bragg creek) on Sunday am with two jeeps if interested. Not between Calgary and Edmonton though.

do you know the conditions of maclean right now?? cause i might head out tomorrow but the tires are running low on tread, picking new ones up but not in time for tomorrow but i am fishing tomorrow wondering if its alright to hit the trails for a fun time??

Don't know conditions, however I believe that the wind and sun would have dried it a bit today.

Hey guys, I didn't end up heading out around Calgary... I don't know the area well enough and I didn't have internet access on Saturday. We ended up heading north to Brazeau and we hit up the trails there for the day on Sunday before heading home.

Next time I'm down though I do want to check out some of your guys' trails.
