Got Stuck!!

Took the truck out for a short afternoon trip to Maclean and ended hiking out 7-8km hitching a ride and having to come back the next day to get it.  I dont think that I will ever go out alone without a winch again :oops:

Still had fun though :lol:

not sure of the name, but I know that it was a designated trail because I was following intersection signs into where I got stuck.

Just out of curiosity, why are mud pics bad?  I know about siltation and affecting natural regrowth but when I get stuck on a designated trail, I have to walk on broken glass.  During the time I was getting the truck out I probably saw 15 or more quads off trail just ripping up the muskeg, and for no reason other than to desroy sh!t.  I guess I forgot we are the bad guys?? :roll:

We all did once in a while,I have walked out twice now, the second time I had a winch, but there was nothing to attach the winch too. :roll:

I still head out by myself once in a while, just to do mild runs with the dog. I imagine I will have to walk out again one day :roll: , Maybe then I will learn not to be stupid and go by myself.
But, I doubt it :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

gotta gree with ian... ive walked out before (stupid low hanging 88-98 chevy frames) and it sucks but you never learn... i did it 3 times last year becuase that old "Its Ok We'll Make It" line came into play

Ya man been there, sucks to have to walk out and call for a tow too.

Not always easy to find someone to wheel with, but recovery gear is a must for wheeln alone.

Ps,,SAw a ad for an land anchor for a winch, for when theres nothing to tie onto :wink:
