I will wrap rope around my bumper for a tow point and I can fit lots of beer in the back seat....

Can I come and play?

G Unit,  Too funny!

Ahh, looking at it, I'd compare it to a 6 inch lifted cherokee on 37's.  But that's just my eye.

I've done some very challenging trails in Borden Ont and it held up really well.  Skid plates, locking diffs front center and rear, tall thin military tires, and enough torque in the diesel to get by.  All in all I'm not afraid of getting stuck, ( recovery is half the fun anyway), but I know the KOCR's are worried about a rollover, as the G wagons are top heavy, especially with the 1 meter Turret on top.

Looking forward to doing whatever trail safely, if there are bypasses on any steep grades I have to do sideways then I'll bypass to avoid tipping over.

Cheers!

Ahh, I don't think the radios work with Civi CB's.  Any suggestions on anything handheld I can use as a substitute?

not in canada.  in canada lucky to get 2KM. (except saskatchewan where you can get 100KM) <-- link
2 watts isn't much in a hand held with attached antenna.

yes but in canada you only get 2 watts.  in canada you can't use repeaters.

canada - 2 watts and no repeater with fixed antenna = the suck
USA - 5 watts with repeater and external antenna = pretty good.

still better than frs but not by much.  can click my link above, i will add underlining to it.

Are the channel frequencies the same in Canada as in the U.S.?  Could you just buy one south of the border and use it up here?

A Handheld CB
CB's only talk to CB's
So having an FRS or GMRS or ham radio won't help you talk to the trail leader on CB.

Hand held CB's are available if you look around. Sometimes Princess Auto will have some.
I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.
