I not biased, I just avoid buying any big ticket parts from the local shops. They overhead they tack on stuff is just to much money.

I try to support them with small puchases, but I refuse to dump an additional grand on something worth 1500 just because I can get it here.

I have found good guys at all the local shops.

I have found that none of the local shops really know jeeps, and the real world of the jeep aftermarket very well. Although they are steadily improving.

But that is to be expected, this is oil town, and 1 ton trucks is where they make their living. Not building jeeps.

Surf, read, learn, repeat, repeat, order, install, enjoy  :D  :D

Then u know if the price is right or not.

I bought most of my stuff online.....

Witch on line places do you recommend. I have bout on line before and have been screwed several times, so I am somewhat leery of them.
Why does your Jeep say Toyota on it?

Also I need to get some tiers. The drive to work the other day in the snow was interesting. I am wondering if I could put 31s on the stock jeep and then lift later.

Nope...you won't be able to turn. even with a bb, you will need to trim some of the plastic.

As Caltrex mentioned Northridge has been very good to a lot of us and they stock A LOT of Jeep stuff.  Plus they are just in Washington State so nice and close for us Canadians
