Magellan Explorist 500 Battery

Thought I'd pass along some info if anyone else has been waiting months for a battery for an Explorist 500.  Apparently they have been on back order since March 2007. (according to GPS Central)

Anyway after a little bit of research it turns out that the battery for a Motorola T720 cell phone is an identical match. 1100 mah Part # SNN5595B.
