Yeah, you have to build to your own needs for sure.
If you keep good backspacing on your rims (4.5" plus) it will help keep the bearings and balljoints in the 44 alive for as long as possible.
If not, the additional weight of that motor will be pretty hard on them. More so if you wheel.
Good luck. I really like this build. Post pictures when you can.

Starting the tear down tonight or tomorrow.
I was planning on extra wide flares and a "medium" backspace to allow for the wider axle so that sort of fits the bill. The new drive train is about 300 LBs heavier than the stock 6 banger

I think he's planning to run 33s. A 14B would be WAY overkill for 33s and the center section is huge and would be dragging.....

Well, it's been a productive day, Out with the old , out with the old.of the beat up YJ. Also the Cummins, the 44 and the 9 inch. PRAY for me, the fat guys back is killing him after 12 hours of wrench pullin. Used parts coming up for sale soon.
