looking for mild off-roading by okotoks

im looking to do some mild off-roading in around calgary okotoks bragg creek etc....nothing to crazy as im not overly experienced just yet :)....if you know of anything that is legal and has january access that would be great!!!!..thanks in advance 8)

I don't know of any "legal" spots down there, but if you do find one, I HIGHLY recommend you DON'T go alone. (and I don't mean have a buddy in the Jeep with you) Have another vehicle with you.

oh i know....ive been off raoding for years...just not the driver for alot of it :)

there used to be a really good place that was a stones throw away from okotoks.  took me 30 mins to drive there. its no longer open though.  mclean is close too man, allthough its not open at the moment until may.  everything else i know around there that i've heard of is private land (if you are thinking general vicinity of okotoks) so don't tread unless you know and have permission
