It is with great sadness, and a sense of profound loss that I am informing you of the passing of Ken Taylor, aka "Savage" Taylor, tonight, at 6:45 PM in the QEII hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

He died peacefully. His body simply could not manage the strain that the progressing cancer had over his body.

You all knew him as a fighter - and fight he did. He was a person who simply did not know what the words "giving up" meant. Those that were able to see him recently realized that sheer willpower alone was keeping him alive. Even in weakness he stayed strong-willed until the end.

He leaves behind a wife and daughter, Ida and Kelsey.

His legacy will be long lasting. For those that never met Ken, he was a true role model for our sport, and a leader in every sense of the word.
I personally am a better person in many ways for having known him.

I'll post the funeral date and location on here when I know more.

Regards,

Corey Kruchkowski

I posted this in our member's section... very sad.... :'(

I'm very sad to hear this news. My sincere condolences to his family. It was a privilege to wheel with him last summer. He's an inspiration and a model to follow in the world of offroading.

I'm sure he's offroading in pararise...
