The only thing i have heard is that parts for Delicas are not as readily available as they are for Pajero`s.

Some vehicles, women just look better in; STOCK jeeps and any Liberty ;D

I second that, Jeeps and lifted trucks. Heck just about anything with 4x and bigger tires.

I have a lead on an early 80's LandCruiser, LHD, diesel, 4 door bigger waggy.
If the diesel dies, then the engine bay is big enough for a cummins or a duramax!!

Both of those engines are VERY heavy, a 12 valve cummins is a nice choice, no electronics just a fuel shutoff wire and gauges. I've been reading alot lately about the isuzu 4 banger diesel, lighter than the 4 banger Cummins I'm working on and about the same HP and touque.

I'd prefer it stayed that way. The popularity of deisel has already driven its prices through the roof.

As it did in the UK some years back

Hey Chris!!!  Maybe you should consider a KJ like I got :D ;D.  Fun to drive, unique & runs on half the gas the XJ did.  Now I know how to get the components for lifting & Jay knows how to build nice bumpers & rails :o.

You mean the "Kia Jeep" ????

Might be an option, but a gas engine can't run wvo, or vo.

WVO = waste vegetable oil
VO = Vegetable oil

Diesel's more expensive than beer, drink, don't drive!

Not if the battery is good, the glow plugs work, the fuel has conditioner in it, and if really cold, some sort of block heater.
