New enough to the Jeeps, other than the old Comanche. Issue resides with 2000 Jeep TJ 5 speed 4 cyl.
Lately the jeep has developed a popping sound thats almost like breaking in a new 2 way LSD in the car. Seems as if while driving, it happens more often while in a turn than going straight and is often more prone to happen when going close to lock on the steering wheel. My mechanical diagnostic skills are not that good, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. So far I am going with its either steering related, or wheel bearings/differential related but I'm hoping its nothing major.
