Yes they do have maps. We grab a few while we were there, but the trail lines are ity-bity... real pain to figure where you are..........
if we were smart with our money we wouldn't own Jeeps.
Here's your cup of STFU... ENJOY!

We need to find where we can get better maps.

Why does your Jeep say Toyota on it?

Get a topo map of the area at Map Town ... that's the bext one you'll get. and trace your own trail with a GPS...

also.. Is there a new trail map that just xcame out from the ASRD? This one should be good.

The map I got at the store was the same as the one on the link but on 10x16 paper. Looks like the intern went to town at the photocopier.

That map looks good,  all the colours kinda makes me think that I'm looking through a kelidescope with broken glass,.. LOL

I'm trying to gain bearings with landmarks,.. where is the store on that map?

The one map I saw at the store (foldout commercial map) seemed pretty good too...  I guess a combination is required.   As for the old Scout way, I found the metal involved with vehicles made it tougher, especially 'cuz people didn't want to stop a lot to take bearings, not to mention being able to see identifiable landmarks!

That's just my $0.02, now $0.005 with Calgary inflation!

I used to be a recce man in the army. All jeep reconnisance.   What are you using right now? What seems to be the issue with them?   When I was training out in Gagetown NB they gave us snow maps which had no features other than contour lines. Great way to learn.  I have access to maps and I can probably  Alter the maps that you have to be more workable.  Any gps users using hiking software?  they use topographical maps in hiking software.

If I can be of help let me know.

the maps are now a buck at the mclean store...bought one on sunday...kinda sorta not so much but almost useful...if that makes sence...black lines going every witch way some dotted some solid...hard to interpret...needs to be color for a better read
