So far in a year of O.J.O. (Old Jeep Ownership) I've replaced a bad oil pressure sender, coolant temp sensor, and when the Jeep was randomly dying last spring it was recommended I replace the cam and/or crank sensor (over $100 each). Cleaning all my grounds stopped the stalling, but it's got me thinking about preventative sensor maintenance.
The previous owner had no records to give me, so I have no idea when things like the O2 sensor were replaced (if ever.) I'm not currently having any driveability problems.
Would you start replacing all the engine sensors as preventative maintenance, or is this just throwing money away?
