Thanks

Gotta say thanks to you folks for coming back and lending a hand. We had tried  a few different things to get that Ram Charger out but couldn't even budge him with just the two rigs. We were going to tie me off to a tree as a last effort but thought it might be best to give you guys a shout before you got out of CB range. End result I think is a toasted engine for the Ram, and hopefully just a starter or mud in the clutch for the Liberty that was going in to help help the night before.

Thanks again.
Gunther

Hi Gunther ...we saw that guy Saturday evening.

Ron and I tied our jeep together and could not even move him an inch. He was close to the road near the first cattle guard. Even with a couple of Jeep we couldn't get him out.

I'm not too sure when you it was rescued but Saturday at around 18:00 the driver was drunk as a skunk  >:(. He could barely walk and talk... :-\not too good! He was a nice guy and all but not very sober and shouldn't be driving at the first place. I didn't want to see him drive that thing drunk again. He said was there for a while and had a full size truck tried to help him and couldn't. Ron talked more to the guy.. I guess he wanted to stay with his truck. At least he was at a safe walking distance to the store if he needed a ride in town.

I'm sure he was sober when you guys rescued him. Was he even there?

Good on you guys... Thanks for getting him out ... Ron and I couldn't  :-[

Him and the guy in the Liberty had approached us whenwe were meeting at the store. He jumped into my open jeep and  I guessed  he had been drinking that night. Good on you for not getting him out the night of his party. I've left people stuck on occasion myself under those circumstances. I'd rather they sleep it off then kill someone on the road once you get them out. Sometimes I've turned down helping them the day after if I suspect they were drunk when they got stranded. I hate breaking junk on our own rigs when people go unequipped when they've been drinking.

The guy in the Liberty was just trying to help him out but got in too deep himself, and there he sits for the night.
