whos done building their jeep ?
« on: August 08, 2008, 02:21:33 PM »
I'm done !   :o

ironically my last mod was putting my tuffybox cupholder
back on to hold my morning coffee - tranny swap moved the
shifter back 1 inch - so had to move holder to the rear ...

I know what your thinking,  sure - done - yeah right! ,
but I am - I dont have any other mods I want todo ,  I
am just going to drive it - enjoy it , replace whatever
breaks or eventually wears out ... but done !

hopefully this news doesnt get out,  aftermarket sales
guys may shutter in fear - is it a trend ? , how could
this have happened ? ... why didnt we see it coming ?

but its true,  I'm done!

its been a long somewhat fun road but things have changed
so next time if I ever retire the yj I might just buy a rubi
and an air freshener and call it done!  ;D

I am basically done building my Jeep as well.  It is a very capable rig and still great on the street.  As you said i will probably just replace what wears out
'95 YJ with a few mods

i dont think jeeps ever get done... they just get close, and then you see something else you want to add to the mix. or it breaks... and then breaks again...

Bill!  the jeep looks awesome! very nice to see the machine out and mobile! will there be a break-in run with you and Al? see whos jeep goes the furthest;)
