We're planning that next year we're gonna visit the ghost towns and the Hillcrest Mine Disaster .. all that good stuff :)

Hopefully in the future I can go live there... but we'll see. :)

I'm hoping the get the pics off my other camera haha.... from the B.C trip and Lundbrick Falls....

I you like the cos you'll love the grrenhills, but on a more serious note the rumrunner is a great pub, good food and good prices. I've been to lille twice this year, its a nice trail easily done with a stock or mildly modified jeep.

Well we thought we could only hike up because we couldn't find anyone who would tell us how to get there!
Wheres the trail located?

It starts at the road to the frank slide interpretive center, you follow it up to a texas gate. Go past the texas gat about 2 km and turn to the north towards gold creek. Follow that road for a couple of km until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork and you'll come to a couple of creek crossings. Just keep following the trail and you will come to Lille. Avoid the mud holes they are extremely deep and have a mean appetite for jeeps.

thats a nice area,  good for fishing too  ::) ... we usually go once during the summer,  we've stayed at hiawatha campground many times long ago when two old ladies owned it but now camp past beaver mines,  took the jeep up past the ski hill on a narrow but hard road a ways but stopped at the river - was deep at the time last year ... ran into a dude who owned a vw who said that trail goes all the way down into US ...

am taking the kids there tomorrow for a day or two camping ... and fishing

The trail past the ski hill is a good one, there are a bunch of good trails around there. I just pulled my trailer up to beaver mines tonight, the lake looked good and a few of the people fishing seemed to be having good luck. ;D

the guy I ran into dont recall his name, late 30's/early 40's - slim build with mustache and dirty blonde hair about 5'8" maybe , him and his dog were walking past bridge we stopped at to examine the river - he hiked alot in that area and had some great fishing stories - could be wrong but I think he was staying/working at the ski hill though it was august , didnt see his vw - but he was telling us about going way back that trail in it ...
