Heads up to anyone thinking of doing their own set.....the rear passengers inside panel in the cargo area is really close to the outside sheetmetal on your very last weld of the project.......ask me how I know :-[
-
fantastic job.
-
The pics don't do them justice. They look much better in person even.
Thanks though. Glad you like them.
The work needed on the inner fenders in the rear to make this work was a bitch though. It was 4hrs per side just to cut and rework the rears before I bent any tube at all. The fronts not so bad.
In the end I got him about 4-5" in the rear and about 8" in the front. That turns his 3.5" lift into the same clearance as 11" up front where the cherokees can flex. The 5" improvement in the rear is plenty for a non-flexy leaf spring setup like the cherokees have.
I'd run 35's on it
-
Your tires are too small. :D
-
33s are the plane right now but if that deal falls though and I have to get new, I am thinking 35s
-
that looks fanntastic!@

Pass side for sure. Or you can swap it out after like we did :D
-
now that is one dusty jeep!! :o
how long was that in the garage, or was there some drywall sanding going on?
very nice either way, looks like you could move small trees out of the way with them.

Was in for about a week. Dust is from blending the top of the flares in to the tube on the side. Gives it a nice clean look on the flares.
-
I see, and it does give a very nice look!
-
Some better shots now that it's out of the shop. Can't wait to see it on properly sized rubber....

35's, longer shocks, and extend bumpstops as needed
most stable lift around. Low to the ground.....big tires. ;D

Can't wait to see them in person, Aaron. They look great! Good job Brink!
-
