Oh And PATENT PENDING so every company out there who wants to copy it can PAY THE MAN
-
Compatable with my rugged ridge inverted T?
How much!!!??
-
thats just a teaser the roll out is coming.......
so far we are working on things....
but we can make monkeys fly out of the threads if u would like :P ;D
-
I think you need a test ZJ. One that is white and on 6" of lift. ;)
-
maybe just for fun, stand one next to a pepsi can to compare size. i think even Borat would be jealous ;D
-
okay so they are coming and they will be any thread pitch required and shank size.... its gonna take us a bit to figure out everyjoint we need to start making.... so bare with us and if for Any reason anything tierod or ball joint needs to be replaced on your rig save the old ones for me less we have to buy new the better...
these will be the answer..
some facts i don't think everyone gets as i really didn't to recent...
all materials are 4140, bodies, races, and pins..(good luck hammer one of these out)
bodies are zinc coated(gold), races, rings and caps are also zinc coated to
pins are nitride for best wear (but not required this is more for the hem joints)(special orders can go out inchoated to save time)
there are no boots on our joints.. there is a wiper seal built into either side of the race..
for connection points like drag links we use a poly urethane spacer to ensure pin is seated correct
for flipping steering to above the knuckle, its going to be a combination of a asshat with the new taper in it installed into the existing hole to flip orientation
fully greaseable...fully rebuildable...(end cap comes off to expose the new trick retaining system, slam two new races in it, reinstall retainer, replace cap redrill set screw and go)
oh and as much as i want to elaborate on the new retainign system its not my place and its coming soon...
full roll out of new products around christmas
thanks for all that are interested...
now hopefully clay doesnt kill me for posting teaser shots lol

Nice stuff for sure!
I have my Drivers side steering flipped, what is this asshat you speak of? ;D
No space around my frame swaybar bracket for a bigger joint, but I just ordered some $30 brackets that should solve that. Test fit before purchase?
Oh, any the wipers are made of what? Good for what temps?
-
Oh, any the wipers are made of what? Good for what temps?
I seem to remember a video posted online of one of their joints spun up to 225rpm at 200ft/lbs of pressure... the grease inside lit on fire, yet the joint held out. Pretty damn hot?
:D
-
i dont know if u can tell but the bottom picture thats a small body joint... the head on our tie rods is about the size of a qa1 joint that on your trackbar if u have a aftermarket one
the retention system is for everything to... ball sockets, tie rods, ball joints and heim joints... so all our bodies are patent pending...our rams no but u can run our rams without our ball sockets..
okay and by wiper seal i mean its machined into the race's themselves so they are 4140..
a asshat is just that it would go through the backside of the existing hole after its drilled out and re tapers the hole to the top of the knuckle.... they are installed with a 1/2" bolt and are a press fit.....
and yes this should be that video....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF90npdAKsE&feature=youtu.be
flash point of the grease was latter found out to be 900 degrees
now a little background on this video.. this is one of our older bodied joints that has the old set screw holding the cap on.... this video was made for the sole reason to show u even if the joitn completley back out they are still good to go..... this joint that was tested was thrown into a rig after...
oh and who can buy anything else when u got the kid salesman

well his two year old friend wanted to come out and play( i believe it was around 700 climbs with the mat tracks of sunshine....) and those are stock tie rods
-
I'm gonna keep hounding you for ZJ steering lol, I swear my tie rods flex when I touch the wheel.
Looks very beefy 8)
-
Those rods look awesome, but is that the best place for the ram? :o
-
meh dont think its gonna take much abuse on the ski hill...
-
Oooh, me rikey!
Shame it's on a Ford! ;)
Is it going on your dually? How about bringing the ram slightly forward if there is a mag-hytec diff cover?
Let me know when it's on the Dodge. I wanna see. You have a customer, right meow, for my Dodge.
And the gears are turning for my heep application too.

this is a certain hemi jeep, these would be the old style tie rods chev 1 ton taper pins
these where from a few months ago if not 5
-
as u can see in the above if its a wheeling rig its easy enough to build something similar to a rock rail for it...
-
How well does this work at highway speeds and around town or is it strictly for off road? How big is the ram?
The ram assist I have now works fine on the highway but is a bit slow driving around town. The ram I have has a 2" bore and is slow to respond, I should have gone with a 1.5".
-
i know i dry steered that hemi jeep with the 49's on it and it spun the wheels on a dime like there was 29's on it..
the sunshine truck was driven around the back roads at easily 120 with no twitch or anything...
the other sunshine truck was driven to pick up the new one and they both drove back to the hill...
its basically alot like a full hydro with out the twitch...
i will ask clay the other questions tomorrow and get back to u...
the first sunshine truck was inspected by clay the other day and after 2 years there was minor seepage on the ram....
