remember when you are fighting a ticket it isnt just for the 120 dollar ticket. you are also fighting to save your insurance. I know as a kid you will always pay higher insurance but with points on your license you will pay twice as much cause you are high risk even if it is just 4. its well worth one missed day of work to say having to pay 6000 a year for insurance on a old rusted up peice of crap.

if the ticket has points on it go fight it. I have been driving for 12 years and I have had 4 speeding tickets I have fought all of them and never had points on my license. so in all technicality's(made that word up) I have a clean driving record. which when I used to drive Truck was a big deal.

plus I pay 1500 a month for insurance for my motorbike my jeep, and my wifes car.

well worth fighting every ticket that has points on it.

all you do is go to the court day tell the judge you are a idiot and made a mistake and can't afford to pay the insurance if you get points, and say you will pay the fine because you know you did something wrong.

most judges will remove the points if they feel you learned your mistake. and even sometimes cut your ticket down as well.

this is what I did in all 4 of my tickets and everytime they removed the points and then cut my ticket in half.

Everyone screws up when they are young, I got 3 tickets within 6 months of getting my license. That being said I smartened up and paid they $4000 a year for basic insurance for they next 4 years. Now 12 years later I haven t had a ticket since and only pay $1100 a year for full coverage on 3 vehicles. I say use the loophole, get your license then use your head and stay clean. Way more benefits in the long run

how u gonna buy an 09 jeep if you can't afford gas to go wheelin in your current vehicle?????? ;)

show up in court. plead your case. DON'T BE A JACKASS about it, and they might knock down the fine, and if you are lucky possibly get rid of the demerits. you might not get out of the ticket completely, but anything reduced is good.  Good luck with it
