Just got back from Tower Chrysler, they removed the nut, no problem!

Wow...I think that means all my questions have been answered.

Locking nut, off.
Misc. switch, removes the safeguard limitations on the lockers.
Tow hooks are good.
Tires are good (but I have been told to take them in for balancing, or to see why there is a slight vibration through the steering column / steering wheel).

Now I just need to learn how to put on the soft top :D

Although for this weather I thin I'll leave the hard top on for now....maybe for the course too.

These are VERY wise words.

I put on my JK soft top for the first time on a cool, cloudy spring day.

I swore a lot, spent six times as much time on it as I should have, and lost a bunch of skin off my knuckles. Life is way easier if you install it on a warm day.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

Sounds good, I'll wait until it's nice and warm outside....unfortunately it turns out I'm missing the rear windows, and the hand screws that mount the door rail things, so I might have to wait a little while anyways.  :'(

You can acquire new plastic windows from any shop that does boat top upholstery. They will sew them into your soft top for a reasonable price.
