Hey all, one of my jeeps has come back to me(room mate bought it so i can finish my TJ!) Plastic valve cover will NOT stop leaking oil, I have tried gasgets and gasget material and gasget in a tube(laymans terms) but cant cure this stupid thing. 90 YJ 2.5l. Thought was too hot all the time but isnt.....stumped. Tried to use search function here and internet but not much luck. Can i get a metel one? Thx!

Not really 100% sure but isn't it common for these to crack? Mybe you have a hair line crack and didn't notice it. This happened to me once with a timing cover.

those little bolts dont need much torq and when you redid with a good clean gasket and surface, did you start
in the middle and criss cross tightening working your way out to the ends ?

if so,  is it leaking randomly or everywhere or somewhere specific ?
