car had trouble starting and bogs out around corners

i have a feeling it it something elecrical because after it is warmed up it starts great

i replaced the distributor cap and rotar and still same thing....   any ideas?

Carb or Fuel Injected? If carb, have you recently had any backfires?  This sounds like a typical float problem, but we need a bit more information ;)

03 TJ, 33" BFG's,4:88 gears  BBoost, CB, custom front bumper,  insta/extenda trunks, rugged ridge roof rack w/basket

almost sounds like a fuel issue

have you changed your fuel filter?

or maybe the pump is on it's way out

The fuel filter in a TJ is integrated with the fuel pump, and not available as a seperate part.

There is a small screen on the bottom of the pick up that can be checked, but pulling all that is a ton of work. I would make sure you've checked everything else before tearing into the tank.

Personally I would run a fuel pressure gauge into the cab and monitor fuel pressure while you test drive it and get the problem to repeat itself.
