Has anyone here used the front trackbar relocate bracket found on eBay?  Its 50 bucks insted of 250 for the adjustable trackbar.

The relocation brackets are pretty weak compared to the adjustable track bars.  Save up a bit more and do it the stronger way

That's what I was gonna do but it is killing my front tires! Gonna get the braket till I can afford the trackbar. Thanks for the imput

Just do the drill and move over method until you can afford a new trackbar. Some will argue that this method is weak and if you don't get the bolt tight enogh it can oblong the new hole.

I wheeled the hell out of my first TJ with the TB like this and never had a problem with it. Just make sure to get that mo-fugger tight.

I just upgraded my whole steering system on my XJ including track bar so I have the RE1600 track bar i can part with, let me know if you want it. i'm in China right now but coming to Calgary on June 5th, PM me for details.

I used the relocation bracket and sometimes it can be a pain in the arse because you have to retorque it all the time when the steering gets thrown off a little.  Also noticed when I wheeled it once the bracket started to crack so I had to reweld it.  Since welding it and torquing with a breaker bar, it's given me no trouble since.

did it fit good with the 2" lift? did you end up using the bracket as well?

No need for the bracket with the Tj had to drill out the whole a bit for the bolt to fit but feels much beter. Steering wheel is out half a turn can't see the speedo or tac lol gonna fix that tonight
