looks like a 3.8l buick motor with a blower on it :D Which vehicle do you guys have up there that thats goin in?
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

easy t0 keep straight with a 255 wide drag radial on a 16 on the front with kyb agx adjustagle gas struts, eibach coils and everything brand new in the front end and a aluminum subframe..... it hooks harder then most people expect alot of people give up before they should... they just dont know what to expect when it doesnt spin at all just a little squeak and a whole lotta screamin... its in a 97 buick regal greatest sleeper ever... bigger things kill me but i have taken some good ones out....

took out a bmw 135I this summer 3.0l twin turbo 300hp 300ftlbs and bmw traction control... and my trans pan was black when dropped with clutch material and a couple chunks from the last diff exiting the cover..... so it wasnt 100%...

This is my humble rig.  Started its life out to me as a females drivers "I hit something and thing the frame is bent" get it out of my garage jeep.  frame wasn't bent, just the tie rod and LCA mount. this is how it looks from the last mod... wheels.  had to park beside a completely stock jeep that day too....

Yes i know i have death hooks hanging off the front.  its kind of an inside joke with my buddies.

A couple shots of the newly built JKU at Waiparous. The mods include: 5.5" Rock Krawler X Factor Lift, 36" Iroks, Genright Tire Carrier, Warn Rock Crawler Bumper, and Warn 8274. Thanks to Jay and Eric of Chanda for a great job on the lift. Please forgive the snorkel - I am dumb enough to suck mud/water in the air in take from time to time. Hoping to reduce damage next time I have poor judgement.
My thoughts on wheeling the JKU versus my old TJ?

Pros: long wheel bases makes hills a dream; more space to bring "stuff"; the 4:1 transfer case; bigger gas tank (i need it); has road manners of a Bentley.
Cons: the engine just aint a 4.0 (although with 4.10 gears it has no trouble going up any hill at Waiparous in 3rd gear in low range, but sounds like a Caravan); all kinds of "technology" like traction control (die!); and seat belt warning lights (don't tell me what to do).
