if its all show, the a daystar 1" body lift, 2 " coil spacers and some rims with 3.5-4.0" back space will work fine, even get the zenon plastic flat flares for the little extra room and to keep the tires covered and legal. do all that for under 2000$ including installation at a shop.
Joel & hps4evr pretty much nailed it... what they didn't tell was why. Here is the why.
If its all just for show... you don't need to spend money on stronger control arms, springs, sway bar disconnects, quality rod ends, shocks, etc.
So... a 2" spacer lift:
1) Doesn't require a SYE and CV shaft (installed... this can cost as much as a 1/2 decent lift kit alone)
2) Doesn't require a T-case drop (cheaper but cheesier alternative to a SYE & CV shaft)
3) Doesn't require new springs (less cost)
4) Utilizes your stock control arms (less cost)
5) Will be quicker to install (less cost)
6) In combination w/ a 1" body lift & flat flares give you body clearance for 33" tires
Understand though... that this will pretty much get you a crap lift for anything offroad.
If you think your going to wheel (semi- serious w/o breaking stuff in the bush) at some point... consider investing in:
1) 4" Rough Country X-Series lift w/ SYE & CV shaft (Pretty decent single flex kit)
2) 4" Currie Enterprises lift w/ SYE & CV shaft (Top quality double flex kit that will last 100,000Km plus)
With all that said... I am surprised you didn't get flamed harder for posting "for show only"... most, if not all, guys on here build their rigs to go wheelin and don't care much about show. Looks like its your lucky day and actually got some decent advice
