I have a tube bender but not pipe. Both 6" and 4" radius dies. I dont drink, but cash is acceptable.

I'll be in the shop all day tomorrow if you need to do a bend.

Ahhhh... tube vs pipe

I suspect you have tube and want a tube bender...

Structural Tube - high strength welded steel tubing
Mechanical Tube - seamless, as-welded and drawn over mandrel
Standard Pipe - several seamless or electric weld process, carries liquid or gas

Tube has consistent OD and wall thickness. you would use DOM 'tubing' for a roll cage.

Pipe - think of it as carrying gas or liquid.  Iron pipe or copper pipe for instance.

And sorry for the upcoming hijack...

Billy -  want sizes of tube dies do you have?

aaaaah...nope..im a welder and quite familiar with pipe and thier grades/types...this is 1.5" std wall seamless pipe...chances ae it will damage a tube bender....i may have to just put in  the hydro press and take my chances, but that weakens the pipe...but its just a prerunner hoop..so who cares...

Sorry to hijack the OP's thread, but I'm possibly looking to have a piece of exhaust tube/pipe(?) bent... I want to remove the muffler + catalytic converter and replace with a straight-pipe. Do I even need to have it bent? If so, can someone kindly point me in the right direction?

The reason I'm doing this is I've now broken my 3rd XJ muffler... and am getting sick and tired of it all. First two got ripped off by getting high-centred on rocks on the trail. This 3rd time, the rear driveshaft disconnected at the axle end and flailed around, tearing a hole in the muffler. I'd rather be rid of this annoyance! I've considered some other muffler-replacement options, but I'm constantly broke, which makes me cheap! I prefer cheaper options!
Suggestions appreciated :)

Go to any large size plumbing shop, and get a couple of butt-weld long radius 90's. Mitre them accordingly, and weld em out. Prolly like $5 for one BW LR 90

Or talk to Triple D Bending. $$$$

i actually just used the 100T hydraulic press at work to make the bends...originally used my oxy acetylene torch to heat , then bent the pipe, but bends werent consistent...but thanks anyhow...

P.S Special K..i didnt mean to sound like a jerk, just needed to clarify that it was indeed pipe..not tube.. ::)
