I  gots this lil wee station wagon that I usually do mundane grocery gettin with. I hope it can do these trails you have planned? Will I get a scratch on my nice paintjob?

Other than the fact that i have a few minor repairs to do, I dont want to embarrass you with the offroad prowess of my XJ.... So thats really the only reason im leavin it at home ;)

I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

Noel - its okay -  we will put you in between a couple of TJs in case you need help  ;)  Just ask if you need to be spotted anywhere.   :P

And to all the wagon owners, my apologies.  My kids got rides in XJs last weekend and they think Aaron's "Grumpy" and the Pook mobile are nicer than my TJ.  I'm just bitter.  Keith says I need to let go...

Does that mean that you're going to do a leaf spring conversion on the rear of your rig? Or are you just going to try to convert it to a unibody?  :D

Glad to hear I'm welcome, it's all my brother and I have been talking about for the last few days.  As far as the bashing goes I was expecting it.  But be forewarned I speak with an (intentional) spanish accent and pronounce my j's as h's.  Meaning any joshing from the Calgary Jeep (pronounced Heap) Association shouldn't sting too bad.
 

I'll see you guys at the McLean Creek store bright and early, I'll be the guy with the unmistakably blue FJ.

Rubber will stay down this weekend(Eric will not be spotting for me ;))
Dents? Meh. It's just a station wagon after all. People think I got them from shopping carts at the mall from when I get groceries.
My Jeep will hopefully be as capable as Rubi. I just need to find a 4to1 T-case. I hear that this "Keith" guy has one under his Jeep. Just need some wrenches and a piece of cardboard.


ps. I can run mid-pack or tail gun this weekend.
