Open run - June 26
« on: June 15, 2010, 07:40:20 AM »
I'll be leading the open run on June 26th.  We will meet at the McLean store at 8:30 - like to be on the trail by 9:00.

Requirements:
- front and rear tow points
- full size spare
- minimum of 31's

Non-members will be required to sign waivers prior to the run. Feel free  to PM me if you have any questions about the requirements.

Members - I will need mid and tail gunners and possible more if the group gets to large.

Pretty sure I'm in, and may bring a friend or two!

Edit:  how challenging are you expecting this run to be, compared to the 101 trails?

I heartily endorse the full size spare requirement for ANY trail activity...it sucks to change your tire at the top of the world, I can't imagine what getting back down would have been like with different size tires...not to mention what it would have done to my posi. diff. on the highway.

Hopefully I'll be able to join you on this one.

Kev, you should be good to go...

Other Kev (the "special" one)... If all goes according to plan, I will be able to come out and run with ya.

Just got my drive shaft worked over and should be good to go on this one.  It's been too long.  Oh ya and I need to re-enforce my bumper mounts.

I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...
