Timmy's Meet, Sunday August 22nd
« on: July 08, 2010, 05:44:29 PM »
The LAST Meet and Greet for the summer (organized by me that is) - Don't miss this one!

This Sunday, August 22nd @7:30PM at Tim Hortons - 1341 32 Ave NE (same place as the last few weeks - under the runway). There is a nice size parking lot at this location.

Jeep T-Shirts, gloves, first aid kit, emergency trail light, fire extinguisher and lots more. Just be the first to answer a skill testing question to win (give-aways at 8pm). If its gray outside people might not show - more prizes for you - everything must go tonight.

Oh yes we still have some limited sizes of Bud Light NHL tees and some hats for everyone who attends (thanks to Darrin for these) - first come first served as there are only a few left.

Hint - the answer to the skill testing questions are are in the "General Talk" section of the forum. Read it and learn something - then WIN! ;)

Special thanks to our secret sponsor!

I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

Im in agreement with Rich and Kyle on this one too! Finally wrapped up at 10 after midnight, but it was well worth it! Nice to meet you Derrick, and hope to see you again in a week!

Hey and as for your door Kyle, be thankful its tucked out of the way now so you can make it through there next time without a scratch ;)

Congrats on those who won the great prizes. Not only will those who won the windshield stickers look cool but so will those who won the Olympics shades. We have some more great prizes for next Sunday!

Sorry I missed it. Saw this at 10 pm or so after aligning my doors on the new hinges. =]

Had I known the party was going late... I would have made the drive. See you Saturday!

Hi Guys,

I must say I was pleasantly surprised to meet the 'great lot' that showed up ... nice rigs as well ...
Anyway, I promised some 'EuroTrash' links to some of you, so here goes ...

The Tires I mentioned ... axle snappers, but ooo so effective (and pretty snik snik ...)
http://www.simextyres.co.nz/simex-article.asp?pagename=/simex-offroad.asp&catpage=1&article=-2092972571

The Twin Motor winch --> this is a modification you see on Warn 8274 Winches in the European competitions
http://gigglepin4x4.net/

The Masterpull winch ropes with the protective sleeves (way expensive, but well worth the investment)
http://www.masterpull.com/
SuperLine XD is the one you want ...

If I have forgotten to post a link I promised you guys, please let me know ...

Ow and just to be complete:
I NO LONGER WANT A JEEP REAL BAD  ... I ALREADY HAVE A JEEP :-)

See you all at the Show N Shine

Dirk
