you guys should stop this game of listing everything you've owned, because if you don't, i'm sure Robyn might get the inclination to list off everything he's owned................................. and thats probably alot ;0

1993 honda civic del sol

when i was 15, i got a job pushing carts at a local grocery store, i had 5k saved up and I worked enough hours to pay for a payment, convinced my parents to co-sign a loan for me, and I bought the car with 800kms as a demo in late 94.  Got my drivers lic 2 days after my birthday, and pumped it into a 1/2 ton at about 70km/h 2 days after that.

10k of damage, and they fixed it up.  I still have it, it sits in the garage right now, I havent driven it for a year..

if you are looking to buy your daughter a car, I suggest you look to something like a cavalier or focus or civic...cheap and reliable because it is going to find its way to connect with other objects and probably wont last very long after your daughter is in possession of the keys.

73 Buick Riviera was the 1st
76 and a 77 civics
76 280Z (did ground up resto in grade 12)
81 scirocco (stolen in Marlborough my very first night in Calgary with everyting I owned in it)
86 chev wagon - seated 9 with the rear fold out seat that looked out the back window
86 mustang my wife hated with a passion
74 dart (was sold to me by someone in calgary under the understanding it was a 73, and yeah there's a difference, dur !)
79 stroked firebird (for sale)
A myriad of 3 month avg life skibummery vehicles including a subaru with a hokey on demand air lift system, a travel van, a dakota, 4 runner, a couple k cars, a w150, another civic etc etc

Most of my money went into one of the 14 road bikes I have run over the years but thats another forum

Love of wheeling came in mid eighties when my brother asked me to test drive an 83 Toyat 4x4 mirage with him off the lot (looked exactly like Micheal J Fox's truck in back to the future)- we brought it back covered, and I mean covered in mud - finally got the salesman to stop screaming obscenities by interupting him to tell him my brother was buying the truck and he could relax.  Never forget that poor guys face as I drove it back on the lot, priceless

If I could get one back it would be a toss between the Z-car and the Riviera

51 Willys CJ3A - V6, SM420, T18, D44/27 lockers
93 YJ, starting to see light at the end of the carport

My first car was a 1980 Chev Monza,.. never made it to the road but it I loved the damn thing,.. Killed by Ontario salt

The car I drove at 16 looked just like this,..

Cost too much to insure so I got one of these,..

Then so many others after,.. it would take me some time to compile a list,...

Numerous Thunderbird TurboCoupes
Whack of Jeep Cherokees and one Grand
Pinto , Escort, Camaro, several fox bodies,..

Too Many to list!

78 Toyota Celica - Started washing dishes when I was 14 at a near by restaurant ,and saved up to purchased my first car.  With the help from my brother who swapped in and donated a 16V Twin Cam motor from a rally car. One hell of a sleeper car that could keep up with most V8's.  Written off when some guy ran a red light with no insurance.

87 Nissan 300zx - Second owner, purchased when I was 18.  Love this car for handling and electronic gadgets.  Unfortunately it's been parked in the garage and has not moved from the day I started traveling for work 12+ years ago.  Still parked in the garage, waiting.  :-[

82 Toyota SR5  - The truck that started the wheeling addiction.  Purchased for dirt cheap as the motor was on it's last leg in the mid 90's.   Slapped on a set of 33's and wheeled  it, never leaving me stranded.  Retired it from wheeling duty when I purchased my first jeep back in 2000, and finally got rid of it 3 years ago with the original motor.
03 TJ - 6" body lift and 31 MTR's, other wise stock.

78 Toyota Celica

My second car was a 77 Celica GT.  Nice little car.  It'd do 110mph which I thought was pretty impressive for an older 4 banger.  Only complaint was the heater or lack there-of.
This is not 'Nam, this is wheeling.  There are rules.

I'll spare the full list as it's mostly german sedans, but the first vehicle I ever owned was a 1993 YJ that was purchased new sometime a couple weeks before my 16th birthday.

Some years later I gave it up as a DD and parked it at my folk's acreage until my wife decided she wanted it. Been slowly putting it back together since then. We should have it up and road-going within the next month. At some point (I'd guess around February) she'll decide that she hates it and it will go back to being a neglected toy for me :p

My first car that RAN and DROVE was a 1979 Cadillac Sedan deville, i helped a neighbour doing chores on his farm  for a year or so when i was 15, he paid me with the caddy (which he bought new) It was in great shape (was 1993 when i got it) had a big 425cid V8 and loved the highway but it just was not cool at the time and i wanted me a pickup. I drove the Caddy (no licence or insurance-just a farm plate) from rocky Mtn House to calgary to trade it for a 84 s-10 that was at some seedy used car lot, the s-10  that was "mint" had a bad rod knock so i ended up trading it for a Audi 5000 turbo. I wish i still had that Caddy, but  i still have a few old Caddys sitting around, i guess i will allways love em.
