Thinking of coming out on Sunday, about how long will the 101 take?

I believe when I did it last year we finished up around 4ish, so I was back in town by 5.  But...you never know what can happen, so have extra snacks / food just in case!

what sort of donation is appropriate? Just so I know to bring enough with me if I'm able to make it. Thanks!

Whatever you feel is appropriate. The donations we receive from the 101 will be put into the trail fund. We use that fund to pay for materials, labor, equipment and other costs associated with maintaining and repairing trails.

bring your boots, or atleast a change of shoes/socks...or flip flops for some ::)
With all this rain its probably going to be a bit soggy out there.
Getting grumpier every day.

I've been looking at some of the pictures on the trail reports threads.....with all the rain and tough conditions, is the 101 still do-able for a stock WK with stock tires?

While I absolutely want to learn and am certainly excited for this, I don't want to be "that guy" that grinds everyone else to a halt.

I dont think you are going to be the only one. I am shure there will be more stockers and you are not the only one that is going to get stuck. And I think it is all going to be a good exp to teach us how to get out and what to do.

Definitely still come out, it will be a great experience and us trail guides will be there to help  if you need a hand.  That is the purpose of this course

I would love to see another WK come out so please come. You can get a good comparison with my WK with a locker, lift and tires. Something to aspire to I guess. LOL

Going to sound like a n00b here but... How does one get out to the meeting point (maclean creek store)? How long does it take? I have never been out that way before...

Anyone who is going out on Sunday and is unsure of where to go, you can follow me out.

Meet at the Petro Canada in Signal Hill no later than 7:30, we can stop in Bragg Creek at Shell if anyone wants to top off before the run (recommended). I'll be driving a white ZJ with a roof rack.

I was kinda wondering the same thing.   :-[

I'm going out for the Saturday run, if anyone wants to lead me on a game of follow the leader to the McLean Creek store.

Also, can I assume this event is happening rain or shine?
