TRAIL PROJECT!
« on: June 17, 2011, 08:45:58 PM »
TRAIL PROJECT!

It looks like we have approval for a short trail reroute on the trail to the falls.

When :  July 9th and July 10th if needed.
Where: Meet in the gravel pits Ghost  FLUZ 9:00.
What:  We need to clear a section of unused trail and close a portion along the river that has eroded and has a dangerous turn.
What do we need:  Winches, Chain saws, Shovels, Picks, Axes, Sledge hammers, Rakes
All participants should have proper personal protective equipment for this style of work.  Proper  boots,  cloves, Chain saw pants if using saws.
Please post up who can make it. A few trailers may also be helpful.  Many hands make light work.

I dont see a problem with this one fitting in to my schedule. I wont have access to my saw as it will be up on the farm, but I can bring along my Kevlar pants and helmet if you need someone to cut. Otherwise, I have a pick and shovel in the heep at all times anyways :) If not in my own jeep due to repairs I will ride shotty with someone :)
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

I am going to try and make it for this.  It's the day after I get back from vacation but I would really like to get out there.  I have an axe a shovel and I can probably get my hands on a pick.

I would like to come out and help, I only can bring my self. I don't have any power tools just some hand tools. I want to xp the hard work behind all the fun that we have. Extra hands might be useful I think. And would my jeep be able to get there?

Thanks

I dont expect your JK will have any problem out there Anton, unless the terrain has gotten drastically worse since I was last there, you should be just fine!
