If the deckiing is put down with regular screws or nails and not with lags then save yourself plenty of time and effort by just cutting holes in the decking material in between the stringers and either lever action them up with a 2x4 or other long lumber, or simply hook the winch cable to a couple at a time and pull.

They won't come out with a drill and a sawsall is a pain. Have fun out there.

Looks like 15 Degrees Sat. and Sun. Not too hot to work, not too cold and no mosquitos. Might be the last nice weekend to get out for some camping.

Thanks Blair for leading this project!
Unfortunately I cannot make it as I will be out of town.
I will however still donate some time.

I know we have a lot of newer folks in and around the club who have not yet commited to coming out for this project.

We need help on this one.
For you and for our trails I'll offer this...

You go out and do my share of the work and I'll work on your Jeep. Engine Oil change, brakes, diff fluid, rad, winter tune-up, etc.. Engine / tranny swaps might be pushing it  :)
Or maybe you just want an IOU for some heated garage time this winter if you don't need anything right now...

Sign up for the project here, PM me what you need so we don't clutter up this thread with off-topic stuff.

PS. We have enough free camping space for many more people, plenty of space even for those that want privacy instead of a group camp .

or maybe

Problem solved.  ;D
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

Map of the whole area is available here:   http://srd.alberta.ca/RecreationPublicUse/RecreationOnPublicLand/ForestLandUseZones/documents/GhostFLUZ-LargeMap-Mar2010.pdf

For those coming out later... The image shows where the bridge is...  in the red circle.  Come in at marker 95.  Super easy drive in.

Actually would make very short work of relocating the bridge (in one piece)

The project is changing slightly now...  last minute changes from the government.

Bring shovels, picks, chainsaws, and recovery gear as well.
