The project is changing slightly now...  last minute changes from the government.

Bring shovels, picks, chainsaws, and recovery gear as well.

this sounds like were digging a big hole and cutting the bridge up and burning it ..     see I'm always right

bring marshmellows and chocolate    and 20 foot long hot dog sticks this ones going to burn good and hot

Let's meet for 9 at the air strip campground.   We can go from there.

Actually would make very short work of relocating the bridge (in one piece)

A 330? That's kinda...dinky sized isn't it? If someone wants to pay the move fee of $7500 we can use my 385C L. Might have to widen the trail a little though it's 3.5m wide...

Looks like maybe rain for the weekend, if my job shuts down because we can't climb the ramp I'll boot out there.

We have had a change of plans. ASRD has asked us not to remove the bridge deck this weekend as it is a sensitive fish spawning season.   We will be camping and will have several smaller trail projects to work on.
Revised tool list:
Chain saw – with PPE
Shovels
Rakes
Pick
Hammer
Utility trailer or truck to move some stone.

We have a vehicle to remove from a trail and some trail maintenance work, re-signing a trail, draining some holes and repairing a pole drain that has washed out.  There may also be some more in depth survey work to complete on a proposed bypass.  All good projects and the camp site is booked and paid for so bring your tools and let’s  have a great weekend camping.

Im sorry I cant make this project, but my brothers wedding is tomorrow, so i kinda have to be there :P

However, I do have 2 handheld CBs that I can lend you Kevin if you need some. Just text me if that would help ya out. I will be in your area today so I can just drop em off.
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

I planned on coming out but I am not able to make this one, I'll probably be around to help remove that Bronco from Mclean whenever that gets booked.

Hope everyone keeps safe and has a good time tomorrow.

That was a great weekend.
THANK YOU TO ALL THE VOLENTERS THAT CAME OUT.   We had members from several clubs that came out and helped. A particular thanks to the Toyota Club that provided a large part of the labour for the pole drain project on Saturday. Great  job everyone.

T'was a great weekend.  Thanks to those of you who came out. A BIG thanks to those Yota boys (and gals), the pole drain project went quickly.   Ron, Loren, Kevin from the Land Crusiers and myself yanked an upside down pickup out to the road.   Way to go Jeep train!
SRD also let us go find another truck that was used to roast marshmellows.   It is slightly charred.   Could not get that one out, but we now know where it is.
