drums = ghey

discs = well, they are stock ZJ jeep discs, so not much better.

took backing plates off a disc braked exploder.  i have some D44a ones but they most certainly don't bolt up.

so its all bolted up right now, i'll use the calipers/discs/pads from my current one.  if they don't fit (they should) then i go buy new crap. no biggie ;)

looking good :)

thanks buddy :)

Bradley, yes its all done and installed :) i'm gonna go take some poser pics later.  probably in a parking lot..... at a mall..... flexed out on a parking curb ;)

so i dialed in the front end today.  adjusted the toe in and upper control arms, and track bar cause apparently i'm blind and it was off.  its sitting pretty good now. i'm really happy with how its riding. up to 140 today with no vibes what so ever. rear end is a little loud though.  not howlin but it ain't quiet.  bearings were good, so i might have to recheck backlash and stuff.  hope i don't have to pull the carrier again until i do gears and elocker.

the spartan locker in the rear is ok. its loud though. you can hear it click around corners and tight turns.  doesn't bind however, and for general driving, i can't even tell its there.  for a cheap mod i think its worth it. kind of wish i had gone with an elocker though..  only things i'm waitin on now are a JKS track bar which i don't really need in the rear, and a driveshaft spacer from IRO cause my shafts a lil' short (thats what she said)

also, i swapped the rough country crappy shocks for some bilsteins.  ride is 100% better. ride is almost stock at 5" of lift. i'm likin it!

more to do tonight/tomorrow though.  going to put my newish driveshaft in to get the CV one out of there (run the CV one as a spare) and gonna pull my CV axleshafts out for some XJ units with the bigger ujoints.

pretty close to be dialed in and ready for trail use :)  overall its goin pretty good; and almost ready :)

been a while.

did some stuff.

Pook was good enough to fab me up a rear bumper.  pretty sturdy, i've hit it a few times ;)  its all tied into the hitch as well, so it should hold up.

and got busy this weekend too.. did some front end work.  i'm going to do a write up on jeepforum and i'll post a link.

basically, i cut out all the sheet metal on the underside of the ZJ. now theres lots of room to flex. its also pretty sturdy.........

yes thats jacked up on the lift... didn't even budge

heres a link to build up

A ZJ Pre-Runner?  :)
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(
