Volunteers are needed for set up around 11am. Also need volunteers to get the posters out and boxes placed/picked up the day before.
hopefully we can get an updated printable version of the poster ASAP.

Here are the posters.  Please feel free to download these and print them off.  These will print off on 11x17 no problem.  I think it's about a buck a poster a Staples.

One poster is meant for boxes.  The other is the invite to come out to the event.

I also have TIF versions - PM me if you want those instead

Yikes, not much time.  Gunna have to push hard to get a good stash of goods.

Going to try and get a donation bin in all the Rona stores, also will try and get my wife to put one in her Best Buy location too.

We have a donation box set up at The Gear Shop for anyone in the NE/NW area.

Bay 14 1431 40 Ave NE

- Also, I had noticed on the poster that it says "a hamper for a family with a child". Does that mean that we're looking for more than just toy donations?

right now the main goal is getting the boxes out, anywhere you think might help. Easy as printing the poster off, putting it on a box and getting them out. All toy and cash donations will be accepted, this is mainly for the kids remember.
Volunteers are needed still for the drop off and pickup of the boxes. Even in the short notice,i think we can still accomplish our goal.

I've got a truck as well, so could help do a box pick-up-run.

Is there a list of locations for these boxes? It would be useful info to provide with Facebook msgs, Tweets, etc to people asking them for donations.

If we can get a post up of locations of the boxes currently, so i can arrange pickup on the friday evening, it would be most helpful.
i sent pm's to a few people looking to volunteer for set up. thanks to everyone.
See everyone saturday! Might be chilly but should be a good turn out.

I have donation bins being setup in the Westhills and MacLeod trail Rona's. I have also confirmed a $200 donation from the Crowfoot location.

I can pickup the donation bins from these locations on Friday night.

Aaron, i can not attend the run as o work and by the time i get out of my clinic and back to that area, you guys will probably be done. i would like to donate to this event. Who do i make the cheque payable to?
If there is anyway someone attending the event can come by my clinic Friday (8-noon and 3-6pm) or Sat (open at 9am) and grab it that would be great.
Let me know.
i am located in Avenida plaza (where the Tim Hortons is) for anyone reading this that could swing by to pick up the cheque.

See everyone at the xmas party later 8)
